Bubble Meet & Stock Car Day C|M|R Review – Sunday 2 May 2004

11 of us set off from York at about 10.15am collecting Chris and Nick on the M1 on the way to Derby. The weather was glorious and a few of us turned very pink in the sun!

There were some very nice cars at Stenson ranging from a Ferrari to a Fiat 126!! Ben had a trip up to Derby in his Nissan 200 and met us there and we all went for what was a really nice lunch in the Bubble Inn.

After chilling out a bit longer in the sun some went home and the remaining 7 of us drove to Sheffield to watch the stock car F1 and F2 World Championship qualifying. The action was loud and entertaining, and we eventually set off back to York about 7pm.

A good time had by all!
