Well we all met up in the layby on the B1224 towards Wetherby at 1:15pm on Sunday 29th June for what was to be an action packed afternoon. We arrived at Tockwith in good time to find that they were running late. After about half an hour of waiting we finally got our briefing, paired into teams and overalls and helmets on and made our way over to the track. We had a few problems with the cars, for example we had one car that had brakes stuck on so it didnt want to accelerate at all and a few of the cars chains kept falling off on hard cornering.

I believe most people had a good day, the day could of been better if we had had the track to ourselves though and the carts had been in better condition.

Next time we will either be going to Selby or Middlesborough, Middlesborough seemed to be a favourite due to the fact that the carts are quicker and all of us would be on the track at once, instead of 5 cars.

Still even with all the problems people still seemed to enjoy themselves.
